Want to use the Frameworks in your organisation?

The Racial Dignity Framework is designed to support organisations and practitioners working with diverse communities across various settings. The framework addresses underlying factors that facilitate or hinder belonging and dignity for marginalised populations while supporting organisations and practitioners to develop solutions and interventions that can best respond to experiences of disadvantage and minoritisation in a dignifying way.

Courses and modules

  • This module offers an overview of the Racial Dignity Framework, exploring how dignity can be affirmed and restored in indignifying contexts. Participants will learn how to identify, foster, and embed practices that respect and uphold the humanity, worth, and wholeness of racially minoritised individuals and communities.

  • This module introduces the Racial Indignity Framework, focusing on how principles such as dehumanisation, exclusion, and everyday racism manifest in personal, organisational, and systemic settings. Participants will develop an understanding of how to recognise and name practices that erode racial dignity.

  • This module unpacks the core principles underpinning both the Racial Dignity and Racial Indignity Frameworks. It guides participants through key concepts such as humanisation, respect or conversely dehumanisation and disrespect as and everyday practices that either affirm or deny dignity.
